EVENT QUESTIONS

What are the age restrictions for the Savor Dallas events

All attendees must be 21 or older. Guests under 40 must present ID.

What is the difference between the Grand Tasting and the Reserve Tasting?

The Grand Tasting is the centerpiece event of Savor Dallas and provides attendees with the largest array of food, wine & spirits samples of any of the Savor Dallas events. The Reserve Tasting is a premium tasting event for a smaller number of guests who want to sample only the most rare and exclusive wines and spirits featured at Savor Dallas.

What happens to the outdoor events if the weather is bad?

If it rains, Opening Night in the Harwood District moves inside to previously arranged venues within the Harwood District. The Grand Tasting and the Reserve Tasting are indoor events and will not be affected by weather. Community Brunch is an indoor-outdoor experience, but will be shielded from any rain or bad weather.

What is the dress code?

There is no official dress code, but most of our guests will be dressed to impress in their favorite cocktail attire. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

VENUE QUESTIONS

Why do the events occur in different locations?

Part of the fun of Savor Dallas is that guests get to enjoy some of the grandest and most iconic locations in Dallas—from strolling around the Harwood District to exploring the massive Grand Tasting at Fair Park and the beautiful bounty of the Farmer’s Market. We love this incredible city and select locations for Savor Dallas that highlight the various cultural icons that call Dallas home.

Besides driving to the festival, what other transportation options are available?

There is a DART station at the main entrance to Fair Park and DART stations are close by the majority of the downtown hotels as well. DART locations throughout the city will bring you safely and conveniently to and from Savor Dallas.

Additionally, we recommend taking cabs, Uber or other car services; and we’ll provide a convenient drop-off area adjacent to the main entrance of each Savor Dallas event.

Are the venues non-smoking?

Yes, all of the events will take place in non-smoking environments. Exit and re-entry from the various event venues will be allowed to accommodate smokers.

Can I come and go? Is re-entry allowed?

Typically no. We can make small exceptions for the right reasons, but it is a liability to allow people to come and go from an event where alcohol is served. However, you are allowed to move between the Grand Tasting and Reserve Tasting events during their overlapping time frames.
